After what has been a great debut season for Alex in World SBK SSP300, the final leg takes place this weekend in Jerez, Spain. The second visit to Spain this year in World SSP300.

Alex and Team Toth are confident that all the hard work that has gone in during the season will be rewarded with a BIG finish in Jerez.

What a Weekend!

Thrills and Spills Galore, but, most importantly another 4 World Championship points for Alex.

Wet conditions in practice on Saturday led to 15 riders “Slip, Sliding Around”, including Alex. Fortunately, no permanent damage and the mechanics @ Team Toth worked tirelessly to ensure that the Bike was “Race Ready” for Sunday.

Starting 22nd on the Grid, Alex rode an incredible race to catch up with the leading bunch and apart from being held up in traffic towards the end, achieved a remarkable 12th place.

In terms of World Ranking, Alex is the Top British Rider and in his first season is currently 13th with one round to go. Full details of the weekend including Alex’s comments are on the press release

2018 is set to see Alex improve further. Magny-Cours est Très Magnifique!

Alex and Team Toth have arrived safely at M-C and final preparations are underway.

Alex will be on the track for Free Practice 1 & 2 @ 1215 & 1700 today (Friday) before the serious “stuff” begins tomorrow with Super Pole 1 & 2 taking place @ 1130 & 1155.

The Big Race starts on Sunday @ 1420 and World SBK can be followed on Eurosport 2 all weekend.

The Countdown to Magny Cours Begins

Alex is now entering the final sector of WorldSSP300 for 2017.

This weekend, WorldSBK is at the World famous Magny Cours track in France and Alex has been very busy preparing since his tremendous performance in Portugal.

Alex and Team Toth are confident that a Top 10 performance is the minimum that is expected this weekend. The track at Magny Cours sets up well for Alex and in Alex’s words he is ready “to put on a show”.

WOW! in Portimao

Another great weekend for Alex in Portugal and Alex continues to accumulate World Ranking Points.

This was Alex’s first visit to the track and all were very impressed with how Alex adapted very quickly just missing out on Superpole by 0.04 seconds.

The Countdown to Portimao Begins

Alex and his Team are really looking forward to the next round at the wonderfully named Autodromo do Algarve AIA in Portimao over the weekend of 15th-17th September.

Alex has been working hard with Team Toth and also the odd trip to the local golf course. The Yamaha 300 will be ready for Portimao, although as our image shows, Alex is ready for any eventuality.

With 3 rounds left of the 2017 season, Alex’s management Team are preparing to start talking to parties who are interested in sponsoring Alex in 2018. A great year in prospect as Alex will have a year of World SSP300 under his belt.

Alex was involved in an incredibly exciting weekend with a combination of thrills, spills and unfortunately a couple of technical difficulties.

WorldSBK Returns! And About Time Too!

After the long hot summer which included testing of the Bike across Europe and intensive gym workouts, Alex and Team Toth are now preparing for the final assault on the 2017 WorldSSP 300.

The next leg is the Prosecco DOC German Round at the Lausitzring over the weekend 18th to 20th August.

This is then followed by

The Portugese Round at the Autodromo International Algarve over the weekend of 15th- 17th September

The Pirelli French Round at the Magny-Cours Circuit over the weekend of 29th Sept- 1st October

The Pirelli Spanish Roundat the Circuito de Jerez over the weekend of 20th-22nd October

Misano Round 5 Result

Another outstanding performance from Alex at Misano resulting in an 11th place finish, missing out on 10th spot by hundredths of a second!

Alex commented that it was a positive race and he was really happy with another points scoring finish. Lap times were fast during the race and Alex kept the pace up!

Taking the huge amount of positives from the first half of the season into the summer break!

Alex was also informed that at Donington he had been moved up from 11th to 10th so another Top 10 finish.

The Sensational Alex Murley

BOOM! In what turned out to be the race of the weekend, Alex was once again involved in a thrilling race at his home track, Donington Park, in the WorldSSP300.

Having started in 16th place on the grid, at one stage in the 13 lap race, Alex had reached 4th place before finally finishing 11th in a spell-binding finish. A further 5 Championship points sees Alex consolidate his position in the Championship standings and is only 7 points off 10th place. A remarkable achievement in his first year in the WorldSSP300.

The support shown to Alex over the weekend was unbelievable and Alex wishes to thank everybody for their support and goodwill messages.

Preparations are already underway for the next round at the Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini track in Misano over the weekend of 16th-18th June 2017.
